Slow and poor app support
Why does LG not have Steam link and Moonlight natively... Also feels like it runs as slow as dial up internet sometimes for simple actions. Surely launching an app like Youtube shouldn't take more than 10 seconds on a 2k$ TV...

Nice picture, but not for me
The display quality was genuinely impressive, deep blacks, sharp detail, and rich colours, especially with 4K content. But I found the software slow and clunky, and the interface wasn’t as intuitive as I expected. For the price, I hoped for a smoother, more user-friendly experience. It didn’t feel like an upgrade, so I ended up returning it.

Fantastic OLED TV that's affordable!
65 inch LG OLED AI B5 4K Smart TV 2025 OLED65B5PUA Purchased this OLED TV and it was delivered yesterday. The picture is superb even during daylight with my trip pane picture window a foot away from the left of the TV. No glare issues at all which surprised me somewhat! Very pleased with the OLED picture, lots of adjustments available. I use the AI feature to setup my custom favorite video setting which worked very well and was easy to do. I have been shopping for several years for an OLED with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos that was affordable and the latest LG sale price on this 65 B series with a nine hundred discount for the bill. My 55 LG LED backlit LCD is still working perfectly and has a really good picture for the tech however this OLED is far superior looking and has a lot of newer tech including the AI adjusting that's helpful. Lots to learn yet, I haven't even used the voice control stuff yet. I have added some pics taken of the TV screen with YouTube in 4k, HDR 10 during the day with the window blinds opened.

The LG OLED55B56LA delivers incredible picture quality with deep blacks and vibrant colors. Smooth performance, solid smart features, and great value for an entry-level OLED. Highly recommended!

Super smart TV
After 1 month of having this TV I am absolutely amazed about the picture quality and sound performance. It has good design and it is easy to use. The interface is great and you can always choose so much easier from home page. Also easy to connect it and to interact with. The fact that it is a 2025 TV makes it more attractive as it’s the most up to date TV interface you can find on the market plus it is an OLED AI. I can very impressed and I highly recommend it.

Something I don't like
I’ve been using the LG B5 65-inch OLED for about three months, and while it nails some things brilliantly, it also leaves me frustrated in areas that matter for daily use. Picture Quality The standout feature. Honestly, the best picture quality I’ve ever seen, especially considering this is LG’s entry-level OLED. Colors are vibrant, contrast is excellent, and black levels are deep. Movies and gaming look stunning. Sound Surprisingly loud and clear for built-in TV speakers. Good enough for casual use without a soundbar. UI & System Behavior WebOS is laggy, cluttered, and lacks basic controls like aspect ratio/zoom. TruMotion introduces ugly artifacts in fast horizontal pans—turned it off completely. The AI features feel gimmicky and pointless. Major annoyance: when resuming from rest mode, the TV doesn’t remember what I was watching. It always defaults to HDMI (in my case, PS5). Bluetooth connectivity with my Bose Soundlink Mini is unreliable. Volume control often breaks, forcing me to reset/reconnect. Remote Control Honestly terrible. No dedicated play/pause button for OTT apps. The scroll wheel is clunky, inaccurate, and unfortunately the primary button. Makes navigation more frustrating than it should be. Other Notes Installation took an absurdly long time (a full week after delivery). Price feels a little steep considering the buggy UI and weak smart features. The hardware is amazing, but the software drags it down. Verdict If you’re buying purely for picture quality, the B5 is a winner. But if you care about a smooth smart TV experience, responsive UI, or a decent remote, be prepared for disappointment. I hope LG takes software updates seriously, because the potential here is huge but wasted by poor execution.
