Comfortable
I received this in the mail and I have to say that I was impressed. We unpacked it every piece was in there, we had to put it together. This chair was absolutely beautiful. No words could describe how nicely is this chair. It’s a high chair the material looks very durable. Very comfortable the seat cushion is thick and supportive , and the backrest is at the perfect height. The fabric feels high quality and has a nice woven texture that seems it will hold up good for a long time. Assembly was easily the instructions are included. Overall it’s a great chair really strong.

Lovely stool
Beautiful chair! Super easy to put together with clear instructions. You will need a screwdriver but the chair is classy with a slight beige tone and nice dark wood

Great chair
Quite an easy chair to put together. The instructions took all of maybe 30 minutes to unpack the box and get it completely assembled, which isn’t bad. I came with everything you need besides a screwdriver, which was a little odd to me how it had different screws for the bottom foot things. But luckily, I had a screwdriver on hand. The chair is very comfortable. It sits at a great bar height. It’s honestly going to work great as a chair for my room to add a little bit of extra sitting area and it’s well up in upholstered well. The color is also very nice and the material is soft but sturdy.

Sturdy bar stool
I like this chair it is very comfortable. I wish I would’ve received more however I plan on buying more so that it matches and I don’t have two different chairs. One thing I wish is that the chair was a little bit taller. You cannot adjust it, however it’s not that bad. It’s very sturdy very comfortable. It was easy to put together. The chair isn’t heavy so it was easy to move it around and it doesn’t feel like a cheap chair that if you sit in it the wrong way you might break it. I’ll definitely recommend this chair. I love the Madison line. I want to get more of her stuff so I was super excited to be chosen to get her chair from her line.

Poor return policy
The holes to assemble were not aligned correctly. The stool itself seems decent but very difficult to assemble. I tried to return at the store but they said it could not be returned at the store although I had a return barcode in my receipt. I called the number to make the return - they said I would receive an email from UPS in 1-3 days. I called back after 3 days and was told that somehow the return had not gone to UPS so they initiated another return. Now I am to track the tracking # to figure out when UPS will come pick up. I was told I will be credited within 10 days after Macys receives the stool back but less the shipping costs. Macys makes it too difficult to return defective furniture bought online so beware!

Decent chair.
If you want a chair that is very appealing but also extremely hard to put together, this is the chair for you. It's very comfortable and a great size; however, I will not be buying more due to the fact none of the bolts fit correctly, which made it difficult to put together.

Worst product
I received 2 bar stools, one I put together very well. The second one was not even built correctly. The holes to put the screws in were not drilled all the way through so it was impossible to even put the stool together.
Easy to assemble, attractive, and very comfortable!
This stool was so easy to put together (I did it alone), and has been a perfect addition to our newly-constructed kitchen island. It’s just the right size for a custom counter-height island bar (like ours pictured). Not too heavy and easy to move, it looks great in our kitchen and is also surprisingly comfortable (very well padded). I find myself using it sometimes when working from home, because I enjoy sitting in it so much. We plan to buy some matching stools now to complete the set, because it has quickly become everyone’s favorite seat at the island bar.
